Rob Lamb

“Find the joy… that’s my personal philosophy – for I have seen time and time again that success does not bring happiness; happiness brings success!

Advising, counseling, and assisting families and individuals find their joy by helping them discover, plan, buy, sell, and achieve what they want and need makes me smile. That is my joy!

I learned long ago I am wired to serve. I am thankful for all of the people, connections, and resources in my life that enable me to find the best options and provide the best information so all those I work with can make the most informed decisions for themselves and their families.”

Rob Lamb grew up in Northwest Houston and graduated from Baylor University with a business degree in 1988. He met his wife, Janet, in the business school and they started their careers and family in Dallas/Fort Worth. They lived in the DFW area for seventeen years and in 2010 moved near Bryan and College Station to be closer to family.

Rob has been active as a Youth and Adult Bible Study teacher, a VBS leader, deacon, and Kiwanis volunteer. He and his family are members of First Baptist Church where he played the trumpet in the church orchestra (pre Covid-19.)

Rob and Janet have two children: a daughter who graduated from Texas A&M’s Mays Business School with a Marketing degree in 2017 and a son who graduated from Stephen F Austin University in 2020 with a business degree in Management.

Rob is the cook in the family. He loves baking, fishing, tending a vegetable garden and experimenting with new foods.
