About Bryan
Like College Station, Bryan benefited greatly from the Houston and Texas Central Railroad. Acting as the Brazos County seat since 1866, Bryan was incorporated into a town in 1872 and has grown in size ever since.
Although it has benefited considerably by the presence of A&M University, Bryan has also developed an independent identity as a thriving business center tourist location. Its historic downtown provides a plethora of restaurants, shops, and theaters that are sure to have something for everyone.
